Kick Boxing

The modern form of kickboxing originated in Japan in the 1960s. The sport was initially called full contact karate and was created by Osamu Noguchi, a Japanese boxing promoter. Full contact karate incorporated the punches and kicks of karate, but also allowed fighters to use their knees and elbows.
